Modern Speed Machines Mustang GT |
Eric Rojany of Modern Speed Machines has built one sweet stang! When the S197 was first launched in 2005, Eric knew he had to capatilized on the situation. Even though the Mustang GT has only a 3 valve 4.6L he believed the car had much potential. Before I get into it, Rojany used to build motorcycles, but he dropped out of that industry to open up this mod shop in Gardena, California. The business grew quickly and became on of the biggest Mustang mod shops in Southern California. Having a lage passion for building muscle cars it was easy to build a show car for any enthusiast out on the road.
Rojany decided to take a S197 Mustang GT and conjure up a lot of custom body work for it. It took him 4000 hours just on the hood, grille, quarter window scoops, door scoops, and rear wing. Eric slapped a Novi 220 supercharger on the 4.6L V8 engine along with a Paston High Output Superchager System. Other upgrades include Ford Racing 39lb. fuel injectors, K&N Air Filter, and a full 2.5-inch JBA Performance Exhaust System. The upgrades are fine tuned with a DiabloSport Predator Flash Tuner. Horsepower is rated at an even 500, and torque is a tire-shredding 525 lb-ft.
To keep the Mustang grounded to the pavement, he took some Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires and put them on 20-inch Budnik Muroc III Wheels. For precise stopping power he used Brembo 2-Piece Gran Turismo Big Brake Kit with drilled and vented rotors. The result is one sweet custom Mustang GT. Some may say he went a little overboard, but I don't think he did. The car is beautiful and sinister looking! The red racing stripe across the side of the car is rather appealing to me, definitely cool and different. Would of went with different wheels though, all in all he has created one bad ass racing machine.
